Hi Peter
Peeping around your Faceache pages, I was thrilled to see 'the Zerg' episode. 'Why?' you may ask. Well, I'll tell you:-
When Ken originally wrote that strip, Faceache's 'scrunge' was not called 'The Zerg' (don't know what it was called). Peter Sullivan at IPC magazines (with Ken's permission) changed it to 'The Zerg' as a little 'tribute' to yours truely. You see, I had presented him (and Ken) with a couple of episodes of a comic strip that I was trying to get off the ground; this was called 'Snurdo and the Zerg'. I still have it somewhere and, if memory serves, it was pretty awful (lots of jokes about space-sheep and Bay City Rollers).
There, another Ken tale.

ps It's funny; although my correspondence with Ken was very irregular, it's only now, when writing about him and remembering, I realise how much I miss his friendship.
